Chasing

The Diamond Chasing process is often associated with Mechanical & Electrical engineers where installation of concealed conduits and pipe work are required in walls, floors, and ceilings of masonry or concrete structures. Chasing is carried out using either a hand held chasing machine or grinder equipment with diamond blade attached. Two slots are cut at a predetermined depth and then the centre of the channel is removed using a lightweight hand held breaker. By attaching vacuum equipment, dust is controlled and contained making the process virtually dust free.
